The Hair Buyers Collective (HBC) is a growing community of consumers, professional braiders, entrepreneurs, and industry supporters working together to improve the products we use, strengthen Black-owned businesses, and create new opportunities throughout the Black hair industry.

Why the Hair Buyers Collective?

For decades, many of the products marketed to the Black community have been designed, manufactured, and controlled by non-Black companies outside of our communities. Too often, our voices are missing from the decisions that directly affect us.

The Hair Buyers Collective exists to change that.

Together, we can help influence the products we purchase, encourage innovation, support Black-owned businesses, and build a stronger future for the next generation.
